Customer Reviews
Great wines, easy to manage!
Got a coupon for about 40% off, and the Pinot Noir I got in the International Series Wine Club was fantastic; just wish shipping was faster.
pretty good for a wine club
i was curious about the california wine club because i'd heard good things and found a 20% off code. it was easy enough to enter the code at checkout which i appreciated, unlike some sites that make it super hard. i really liked the syrah they sent, and the wine tasting notes were actually helpful and not just fluff. shipping took about 8 days to get to me, which is a little longer than i'd hoped but not terrible. overall it's a solid option, especially if you're looking for an alternative to something like Firstleaf or Winc.
Great artisan wines, arrived quick
Needed a last minute gift so I grabbed an Artisan Wine Set, it shipped in 3 days and my sister loved the Zinfandel.
solid club, great bubbles
Compared to bright cellars, the california wine club offers consistent quality, especially their sparkling wine selection; adult signature is required, fyi.
Smooth experience overall
I ordered a Handcrafted Wine Collection a few weeks ago for a dinner party. The ordering process on the website was straightforward, easy to navigate. Shipping took about 5 business days, and the wines were securely packed; no issues with breakage. I had a question about delivery requiring a signature, so I used their online chat. Customer support was helpful and cleared it up quickly. The wines themselves, a Chardonnay and a Pinot Noir, were excellent quality, really pleased with them. The tasting notes provided were also a nice touch.
Always reliable service
I've been a member of The California Wine Club on and off for a few years now. Just got my latest Premier Series shipment, and it was consistent with past orders. The wines are always interesting, and delivery took 6 days to reach me in Arizona, which is about standard. Good to see they're still delivering quality. I keep coming back for a reason.
Decent club, minor shipping issue
I signed up for the International Series Wine Club. The selection of wines has been pretty good so far, interesting to try bottles from different regions. The packaging is always secure and the wines arrive in good condition. My last delivery, however, took a bit longer than expected, about 8 days to get to me in Florida. Not a huge deal, but something they could tighten up. Customer service was responsive when I inquired about the delay, which was a plus. Overall, I think it's a solid club for the price, but shipping times could be more consistent.
Good value for a gift
I was looking for a wine gift subscription for my sister and found a good introductory offer here. Got two bottles for the price of one on her first shipment, which was a nice saving. She got two bottles of Zinfandel, and said they were really good. The overall price felt worth it, especially with that discount. It was a practical purchase.
Fast shipping, great wine
Ordered the Mixed Wine Club. Shipped quickly. Wines arrived well-packed. Tasted good. Will order again.
Love my new wines!
Oh my gosh, my Aged Cabernet Series shipment just arrived and it's fantastic! The wines look amazing, and the tasting notes are so helpful. I can't wait to try these out tonight. This club is seriously the best, everything was packed perfectly. I'm definitely going to shop here again and tell all my friends about it!
